Configuring Jamf
Step 1: New user creation
Log into your Jamf account. We're going to create a new user with specific permissions for Intello to use. This ensures that the Intello integration has minimal privilege access to your Jamf account.
Note: this process is required because Jamf only allows integrations via basic authentication.
Start by heading to the Jamf home page and going to settings:
Next, click on the Jamf Pro User Accounts and Groups.
Click on the new button to create a new Jamf user.
Enter the information for the user with the following values:
Username:
intello
Privilege Set:
Custom
Full Name:
Intello Integration
Password: use your password manager to generate a secure password. Make sure to save this password in your password manager because you will need it later.
Step 2: Assigning Permissions
To assign the right permissions for the Intello Integration, go to the Privileges tab and select Jamf Pro Server Objects.
Enable the following with Read Access:
Computers

Step 3: Entering credentials into Intello
Head back to your Intello dashboard and enter the following information:
Company Workspace: enter the domain of your Jamf server. For example if you use Jamf Cloud and you access the workspace under: tony-stark.jamfcloud.com, you can enter
tony-stark
. If you host your own version of Jamf you can enter the full domain you access Jamf from.User ID: enter
intello
or the user name you used.User Password: enter the password that you generated.
